“Hope” did not believe in Massage therapy herself, before she started as a Massage Therapist.
Long time ago, while she was going through a lot of stress at work, she developed a lot of stiffness in her neck and experienced a lot of ongoing pain for a while.
Soon the stiffness spread to her shoulders, back and eventually the whole body. Then one day at work, she was unable to turn her head cause of which she was in severe pain and it became much more serious. Her body started swelling up all over. This is because the tensed muscles tend to block our lymphatic system which slows down its flow. This made Hope very ill. That’s when someone suggested that she should try massage therapy.
Hope was reluctant in going with massage therapy for her problem, but the problem was so painful that she decided to give it a try. She went for a massage that helped relieve some of the stiffness in her neck. She was amazingly surprised with the results of the massage and decided to continue with it further.
After a few sessions, her treatment with the massage therapist was successful and it relieved all the stiffness and stress and she felt normal again.
This experience intrigued Hope so much so that she wanted to learn massage therapy herself. There was no looking back and she decided she is going to help people with similar situations. She advises everyone to take care of their health before they develop an illness like hers.

Hope has more than ten years of experience as a Massage therapist and has run her own therapeutic massage centers and is now running Body Sense in Canberra.
